Dear Sir/Madam:

This is to advise that (operator's name) supports the Marriott Surface Compensation Database and hereby requests that all surface compensation data be forwarded via fax to William D. Marriott & Associates Ltd. (WDM), effective immediately.

New leases, easements, amendments etc. on crown and freehold land which represent wells, access roads, pipelines and plants and the associated compensation will be reported and recorded in a central data base.

The form entitled "Surface Land Compensation Summary" available from WDM should be completed by your company and faxed to Bill Marriott's office at (403) 531-4041. Please ensure the forms are completed accurately and timely. I would ask that you also include a photocopy of the completed form, in our land package/acquisition report.

Please note the forms must be completed on a "per title unit basis" for both wells and pipelines. In the event of a lengthy pipeline project, please complete a form for each titled unit.
